THEMA works on the impactful and thought-provoking challenges that stand in the way of a more efficient and sustainable society. For example, we: 

• Help government and regulators understand how the risks and rewards of offshore wind development can be shared to enable commercial investment, 

• Collaborate closely with executives from key energy companies to identify long-term growth opportunities, drive organisational development and facilitate strategic transactions, 

• Follow and analyse different power markets across Europe to understand the development of future prices, and 

• Advise electricity networks on how to prepare for the mass adoption of electric vehicles. 

• At THEMA we work with management consulting, socio-economic analysis and sophisticated power market modelling. If you want to help solve interesting challenges and for your work to have a social value beyond the bottom line, then you’ll enjoy being part of our team. 

As an intern at THEMA, you will: 

• Gain new personal and professional skills in our internal training programme, 

• Help to solve complex problems together with colleagues and clients as part of real projects,  

• Work on multiple projects in parallel, ensuring an interesting and varied workday, and 

• Learn what a career in consulting is really about. 

Ultimately, you will be part of a growing company, will learn a lot and probably have fun doing so. 

We are looking for curious and ambitious students who want to join us in Oslo as interns in 2025. Specifically, you should be: 

• Among the best in your class, with an interest in energy, 

• Excellent at problem-solving, 

• Enthusiastic, and 

• On track to complete your studies within 1–2 years.
